According to the Labor Law and the Social Security Law, those who are within the scope of EYT but whose premium is not sufficient can benefit from the partial retirement right. Those who complete 15 years and 3600 days in partial retirement will be able to retire without further work.

1- What are the conditions for entitlement to partial retirement (elderly) pension?

Partial retirement, insured people who cannot complete their premiums despite reaching a certain age, are entitled to retirement at an early age. Age limit, starting date, varies according to the status worked. Accordingly, those who were insured before 8 September 1999 can retire when they reach the age of 50-60 when they are 15 years and 3600 days. Those who start working after this date must complete 4500 days.

SSK employees, who started working for the first time between September 1999 and April 30, 2008, can receive a pension at the age of 60 when the 25-year insurance period fills 4500 premium days. Those insured after May 2008 can qualify for a pension at the age of 63, provided that they complete their premium for 5400 days by January 1, 2036.

According to the Social Security Law, those who have paid 3600 days of invalidity, old-age and survivors insurance premiums on May 23, 2002, if they have completed the 15-year insurance period on May 23, 2002, can retire if they wish.
