Call for “EYT regulation” for tradesmen and craftsmen from Palandoken

In his written statement, the President of the Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK), Bendevi Palandöken, called for meeting the expectations of tradesmen and craftsmen who could not benefit from the said regulation, equal treatment for those who are entitled to retirement, and paving the way for internship victims.

Expressing that tradesmen and craftsmen working on their own behalf, agricultural workers, victims of internships and thousands of shopkeepers who cannot retire due to the revival, want to benefit from the EYT regulation, Palandöken said, “We are now looking forward to good news on this subject. The good news to be given is the norm, especially the norm. Ensuring equality in the union is very important in terms of getting the reward of the efforts in working life.

Stating that those who are entitled to retirement should be treated equally and the internship period should be counted for retirement, Palandöken said:

“The Social Security Institution is a place where the problems of all employees from Bağ-Kur, SSK and Pension Fund can be solved together. However, since there is no norm union, SSK employees retire with 7 thousand 200 bonus days, while Bağ-Kur tradesmen and “The craftsmen retire on 9,000 premium days. By ensuring the norm, all employees should be able to retire at the same time, on equal terms and with equal pay. On the other hand, although the health insurance of the internship victims continues, the problem caused by the fact that their pension insurance is not paid continues. With a new regulation, the internship victims should be paved the way.”
