Dehua porcelain production has a history of more than 3,700 years. It is famous for its “white” and its porcelain carving skills are famous all over the world. The Dehua kiln site is included in the World Heritage List, and Dehua porcelain firing techniques are included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage lists.
During the Song and Yuan Dynasties, Dehua porcelain products were one of the main trade goods on the Maritime Silk Road, showing a prosperous scene of “one cage of white porcelain and one box of silver”. The white porcelain products of Dehua in the Ming Dynasty pushed Chinese white porcelain art to the pinnacle of world ceramic art and were hailed as “Chinese White” by Europeans.

On March 14, the international tour New York promotion event kicked off in Times Square, New York, USA, and was open to the public from the 15th to the 18th. As one of the series of activities of the “Chinese Brand Global Tour” launched by Xinhua News Agency, the “China White·Dehua Porcelain” international tour will be launched in 2023. It plans to hold Dehua White Porcelain in more than 20 countries and regions around the world in 5 years.
