Minister of Commerce Ömer Bolat spoke about the export of jet fuel on the list published by the ministry.
Bolat stated that jet fuel from Turkey to Israel is reflected as if it was sold to military aircraft.There are two private fuel companies selling aviation fuel in Turkey. Many tourists came to Turkey from Israel. Civilian flights continued for a while. Flights were canceled a few months ago. The fuel sold to Israel is the fuel sold to the planes of Israeli airline companies that bring tourists. They come to Turkey, buy gasoline for the return trip. This is written like Turkey’s exports” he said.
Describing it as slander that Israel’s military planes are being sold gasoline, Bolat continued as follows:
“The jet fuel allegation is a great slander. Our citizens should not be fooled by these slanders in the sense of political exploitation. Slandering our President, his governments and state administrators, who provide the greatest services to the Palestinian cause, is the greatest of sins.”
