Decision to fix meat prices in some markets in Istanbul

Faruk Güzeldere, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Istanbul Food and Consumer Goods Retailers Association (Istanbul PERDER), said that, as Istanbul PERDER, they will fix the prices of ground beef and cubed beef during Ramadan, with the protocol they signed with the Meat and Milk Institution (ESK).
Istanbul PERDER, which continues its activities under the umbrella of the Turkish Retailers Federation, decided to fix red meat prices during the month of Ramadan within the framework of the protocol signed with the Meat and Milk Institution affiliated with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
HOW MUCH IS THE FIXED PRICE OF RED MEAT?
Stating that meat prices will be fixed during Ramadan, Güzeldere said:
“As a result of our work with ESK officials, we decided to fix the prices of red meat products during the month of Ramadan. Within the framework of the protocol we have made with ESK, as Istanbul PERDER, we will continue to sell the price per kilogram of ground beef at 314 liras and the price per kilogram of cubed beef at 344 liras during the month of Ramadan. “As a local retailer, we are determined to bring the blessings of Ramadan to the tables with our member chain markets and we will not tolerate Ramadan opportunists.”

Güzeldere listed the member markets participating in the campaign in Istanbul as follows:
