Details on the premium discount for EYT members have been announced

The Social Security Institution shared the details of the 5-point premium support that will be applied to EYT members who will start working again after retirement.

Social security support premium (SGDP) is deducted for those who start working again as a 4A (SSK) after retirement. SGDP, which is 32 percent of the gross wage, consists of 7.5 points of workers’ share and 24.5 points of employers’ share.

According to NTV, here are the conditions sought for a premium discount to be applied:

* Within the scope of the EYT regulation, a 5 point reduction was provided in the SGDP employer’s share in order for the retired employees to want to continue working and for the employer to protect the trained workforce. In order for the incentive to be applied, the retired person must start working again at the same workplace within 30 days.

* The employee who will leave the job due to retirement is terminated with the code ’08-Retirement (old age) or lump sum payment’; The employee who will start working again after the retirement application must be given an insured employment statement with the ‘Social security support premium’ insurance code by the workplace.

* The employee’s resignation notice must be given on or after March 3, 2023, due to a retirement pension request, and he must start working from the same workplace subject to social security support within 30 days following the date of leaving the job.

* The workplace must be owned by a private sector employer.

* The employer must pay the accrued premiums within the legal period.

* The employer must not have overdue insurance premiums, unemployment insurance premiums, administrative fines and related delay penalties and late payment debts throughout Turkey.
