Erdoğan asked for ‘patience’ again: ‘Temporary troubles…’ – Last Minute Politics, Economy News

President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a statement at his party’s Aksaray 15 July National Will Square rally.

Giving messages about the economy, Erdoğan again asked for ‘patience’ from the citizens who are struggling to make ends meet. “Together, we will be a little more patient. Those circles that are disturbed by the power and potential of our country want to drag our nation into the swamp of pessimism by using the opposition. They think that they can create a wedge between us and our nation by putting temporary troubles before centuries-old goals.” he said.

‘INFLATION’ MESSAGE

“We are struggling with the high cost of living caused by devastating inflation in our country.” Erdoğan said:

“We made a one-time payment of 5 thousand liras to all our retirees. We increased the salaries of our retirees and employees by 50 percent at the beginning of the year. We increased the bonuses of our retirees by 50 percent. We increased the bank promotion payments between 8-12 thousand liras. As inflation starts to fall in the second half of the year, we will have a little more peace of mind.” “First we need to get inflation under control. We have the program and determination to achieve this.”

“WE ARE NOT WHERE WE WANT YET”

Erdogan also said, “Today, we are in a race with the world. We have come to the forefront in this race in many areas. However, we are not where we want to be yet. We have many challenges to achieve.” he claimed.
