The EYT law continues to ease the pockets of millions.

Applications for EYT, which was completed by the order of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, continue.

Most of the citizens of EYT received their payments. Some will receive their pensions by the end of the month.

Vedat Bilgin, Minister of Labor and Social Security, answered questions about the agenda on NTV live broadcast.

“Very little time left”

Minister Bilgin, on the question about the period of payment of pensions within the scope of EYT, said that approximately 1 million 700 thousand applications were received and that the SGK personnel had been carrying out an extraordinary work for three months.

Stating that the process of setting up the salary continues, Bilgin used the following statements:

I think it will be completed by the end of this month. There is very little time left, it will be completed within this week. Even if it is not completed, it hangs for a week or 10-15 days at the most. But don’t worry, everyone will get all their rights accumulated. Sometimes there are those who have missing processes, their files are being completed, there is no problem with them.

“The issues whose preparations are ongoing will be resolved in the new parliamentary term”

When asked about the expectation regarding the minimum wage in July, Minister Bilgin reminded the statements of President Erdoğan on this issue.

Stating that the minimum wage has reached a certain level with Erdogan’s contribution, Bilgin said, “The same, similar process will take place in July.” said.

Stating that many studies such as EYT and 3600 additional indicators have been completed in his working life, Bilgin said:

The last file we closed was the temporary workers file. We were able to submit it to Parliament. Many of these will be resolved in Parliament. In other words, we are making the preparations, the technical work is being done in the Assembly. So there were contract workers ahead of me.

Stating that the problems of a staff group working in municipalities are also in front of them, Bilgin said, “There are some such problems, I hope we will solve them too. We have preparations, they will be resolved in the new Assembly period.” said.
