First NBA theme park in the world opens this Wednesday in Gramado

The first theme park of the biggest basketball league in the world officially opens its doors to the public this Wednesday (19), at 10am. NBA Park Gramado promises a lot of entertainment and immersion in its space of more than 4,000 m² divided into five floors, with capacity to receive 2,500 visitors. Located at Avenida Hortênsias, 4795, the attraction has Nacional Parque Basquete Brasil as a partner and will operate from Wednesday to Monday, opening at 10am and closing at 5pm. Tickets can be purchased from BRL 79.50 at NBA Park website.

Fans arriving at the venue are transported to the Arena Combine, a space with a court, bleachers, ‘instagrammable’ areas and more than 150 screens spread throughout the venue offering interactivity and content. In this entrance hall, visitors can live the experience of what it’s like to be together with basketball stars through the virtual reality experience. It is also possible to simulate the experience of refereeing NBA matches in the Replay Center cabin, checking fouls and plays.

Arriving on the second floor, the public can experience a gastronomic experience of an NBA gymnasium, with dishes and snacks typical of the United States. In addition, on the second floor, it is also possible to know the history The experiencewith about 15 minutes, which retraces the 76 years of the biggest basketball league in the world and its historical characters, with an exhibition of official memories.

The two basement levels feature additional photo areas, pitching courts, pitching machine, arcade and the NBA Store, featuring exclusive licensed items. For the decoration of the NBA Store at NBA Park, it was necessary to apply more than 2,000 meters of stickers. In addition, the theme park can be rented out for corporate events.
