Governor Eduardo Leite opens official agenda in NY with meeting at Microsoft

At the meeting, which started at around 9 am, Leite should explain to Microsoft executives that the Rio Grande do Sul is the first state in Brazil in terms of Innovation in the CLP Competitiveness ranking and has 15 parks and 27 technology centers.
In addition, it will highlight the efforts of the Digital Government project, in which 93% of the services offered to the population are already digitized. The meeting is expected to last until 11:30 am.
Participating in the meeting, representing Microsoft, are Cris Sharrock, director general of the office in NY, Marlon Fetzener, vice president of legal affairs, and Jetemi Goldberg, director of infrastructure and public sector at the company. From the government are the Digital Inclusion Secretary Lisiane Lemos, the State Attorney General, Marcelo da Costa, the Chief of Staff, Artur Lemos, and the Development Secretary, Ernani Polo.
Also following the agenda are the president of the Legislative Assembly, Vilmar Zanchin (MDB), the leader of the government in Parliament, deputy Frederico Antunes (Progressives), and deputy Rafael Braga (MDB).
The day’s agenda continues with a meeting at the Council of the Americas and a lecture at Columbia University.
