The Higher School of Economics offered the positions of passport officer, dishwasher and chief accountant to one of the founders of the university, Professor Ihor Lipsyts. He announced that he was leaving the university.

Lipsyts is a doctor of economics, one of the first teachers of HSE, he has been working at the university since 1993. He is the creator of the first university programs in management and marketing.

The scholar is the author of school textbooks popular in the late 1990s and early 2000s. At the beginning of 2019, they were not included in the federal list of educational materials. In the examination conducted by order of the Ministry of Education, declaredthat the examples and questions presented in the book “do not promote love for the Motherland.”

Lipsyts has been living abroad for the past three years, working remotely at the university. On August 10, the professor reported on social networks that the HSE management had unilaterally canceled his remote work contract. For the new positions offered to him, he “did not find the competencies in himself,” the professor wrote.

Everything is on the HSE Lipsyts website still specified like an ordinary professor. It is noted that the students voted him the best teacher of the year nine times.
