Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, who announced that the tender for the project that will extend Ankara’s metro network to Esenboğa Airport will be held this year, made evaluations about new projects. Reminding that the length of the capital’s metro has been increased to 67.5 km, Uraloğlu said, “The new project work, which will reach Esenboğa from Kızılay, will have 8 stations and a 30 km long rail system, with a speed of 120 kilometers. This project, which will allow our citizens to access the airport in 30 minutes, is being built in the investment program.” “Revised study-project studies are continuing. The project is planned to be put out to tender within the next year after the completion of the update works.”

YUSUFELI VIADUCT WILL OPEN AT THE END OF THE MONTH

Minister Uraloğlu stated that the steel deck and superstructure manufacturing of the 685 meters long, 16.5 meters wide and 152 meters high Yusufeli Viaduct, built within the framework of Yusufeli Dam, one of Turkey’s mega investments, will be completed and opened to traffic in May. Minister Uraloğlu said, “With the project, the connection of the new Yusufeli central district and surrounding villages to Artvin province will be shortened by approximately 15.5 km, saving 25 minutes of time.” Uraloğlu said that work on new projects continues.

330 THOUSAND CYBER ATTACKS WERE PREVENTED
