With the legalized EYT regulation, those who retired began to receive their salaries in April. 2.2 million people will retire with EYT. In total, it concerns 4.7 million employees.

TWICE INCREASE IN THE MINIMUM WAGE

In order to prevent the minimum wage worker from being crushed by inflation in 2022, there was an increase of more than 80 percent, with two hikes in December 2021 and July 2022. The minimum wage, which reached 5 thousand 500 TL, was re-determined in December 2022 and increased to 8 thousand 500 TL with a time rate of 55 percent. It is stated that a new increase in the minimum wage may come in July this year.
