Premium discount conditions for EYT members have been determined

The 5-point premium discount conditions to be applied to EYT members who will start working at the same workplace after retirement have been determined.

Turkish Grand National AssemblyIt was expected that the details of the social security support premium for EYT employees who continue to work in the same workplace after retirement, this time after it was accepted and enacted in Turkey, would become clear.

Social security support premium (SGDP) is deducted for those who start working again as a 4A (SSK) after retirement. SGDP, which is 32 percent of the gross wage, consists of 7.5 points of workers’ share and 24.5 points of employers’ share.

According to the law, when the necessary conditions are met, the employer’s share of SGDP is 5 points. discount is provided.

While it was stated that some conditions must be met for the application of the discount, the Social Security Institution shared the details of the 5-point premium support that will be applied to EYT members who will start working again after retirement.

CONDITIONS FOR THE APPLICATION OF THE PREMIUM

In order to benefit from the 5-point reduction in employer share in SGDP, certain conditions must be met for employers who retire and want to work within the scope of EYT and who want to maintain their trained workforce.

The conditions to be met are as follows:

*According to the law, in order to provide premium support, the retired person must start working again in the same workplace within 30 days.

*The employee with EYT should be dismissed with the code ’08-Retirement (due to old age) or wholesale payment’ and the workplace must give an insured employment statement with the ‘Social security support premium’ insurance code.

*The employee’s resignation notice must be given on or after March 3, 2023, due to the request for a pension, and he must start working from the same workplace subject to social security support within 30 days following the date of leaving the job.

*The workplace must be owned by a private sector employer.

*The employer’s accrued premiums must be paid within the legal period.
