EYT Stating that it is time to meet the expectations of many tradesmen and craftsmen who cannot benefit from the regulation, TESK Chairman Bendevi Palandöken said, “Our tradesmen and craftsmen working on their own behalf, agricultural workers, internship victims and thousands of tradesmen who cannot retire due to the revival want to benefit from EYT. We are now looking forward to the good news on this subject. With the good news to be given, it is very important to ensure equality, especially in the norm union, in terms of getting the reward for the efforts in working life.
In his statement, Palandöken said, “The Social Security Institution is a place where the problems of all employees from Bağ-Kur, SSK and Pension Fund can be solved together. However, since there is no norm union, SSK employees retire with 7,200 premium days, while Bağ-Kur artisans and craftsmen retire on 9,000 premium days. All employees should be able to retire at the same time, under equal conditions and with equal pay, by ensuring a unity of norms. We argue that a system in which the employee is paid more than himself is wrong. The grievances of the tradesmen, who have accelerated the economy for years and provided a serious resource to the state with the taxes they paid, should be eliminated without losing time.”
Stating that the internship period should be counted towards retirement, Palandöken said, “It is very important to eliminate these grievances and to rejoice millions of people with their families. Now is the time to meet the expectations of our tradesmen.”
