Subscription scandal in phone finding application Geofind: Many people were shocked to see money withdrawn from their accounts without their knowledge

Many complaints about unfair withdrawals and membership cancellations began to be received against Geofind, which is used to determine the exact geographical location of mobile phones when they are lost.

The victims, who stated that they used the application to receive a one-time service for 17 TL, stated that money was withdrawn from their accounts under the name of a membership fee of 403 TL and demanded that the money be returned to them.

Stating that her phone was found by the police 24 hours after she made a transaction of 17 TL from an application called Geofind, which has a phone finding feature, Elif Gonca stated that a fee of 403 TL was deducted under the name of subscription registration without receiving any messages or notifications from her. ‘Subscription was registered, I became a member without realizing it in the rush. I request a refund. “I want whatever is necessary to be done to resolve it as soon as possible,” he said.
