The Itabus network is growing with 200 new departures: there are now 2200 daily connections

The network is growing Itabusa long-distance road transport company which has been part of the since last May Italian group. Greater capillarity and more frequencies, to cover all of Italy from north to south. A 40% increase in kilometers traveled with the introduction of 200 new departures, bringing the total to 500 daily from over 85 Italian locations throughout the day (including night, thanks to the night services widely used by travelers to optimize travel times). The daily Itabus connections thus become 2200, growing by over 50% to guarantee capillarity and frequencies throughout the country.

Strong the focus on big cities, connected with important tourist areas, infrastructural hubs and small centres. An implementation of frequency on main directions including Rome – Naples (48 connections per day), Rome – Bologna (36 services per day, guaranteeing one trip every hour in both directions), and Rome – Florence (32 services per day), Rome – Milan (20 every day , doubled compared to the past) and Naples – Florence (28 daily).

Services are then added between Naples/Rome and the cities of Veneto, bringing the daily connections to/from Venice and Padua to 12. Connections to Puglia are growing: in addition to the 8 daily connections connecting Rome with Bari, 4 connections are added to Taranto, also connected to the cities of Bologna, Florence, Milan and Bergamo. Naples also increases the number of services to Puglia with 2 departures per day for Taranto and 2 for Bari, Lecce and the other cities of the Apulian Adriatic coast (Fasano, Ostuni, Monopoli, Andria, Brindisi). Connections in Calabria are expanding: Cosenza triples the number of daily departures, Catanzaro is added to the Itabus network with a night connection to all the main cities of central-northern Italy, services to Sicily and Puglia have been introduced.

Pay attention, as always, to connections with infrastructural hubs such as airports: connections with the Bergamo-Orio al Serio airport have been intensified, which has 9 departures a day to all the main cities of northern Italy. There are then 6 departures a day connecting the city of Milan with Bergamo and new offers on the Turin – Milan – Venice connection.

Then there are the connections with the Italo train: a single ticket for travel on trains and buses, with dedicated services that connect the large high-speed stations to the rest of Italy. From the end of the month, thanks to intermodality, news for the South: strengthening of services in Calabria, Puglia, Basilicata, Campania and Sicily which will thus be connected with the central north. In this way it is possible to take advantage of the advantages of high speed and reach destinations of great tourist attraction such as Pompeii, Herculaneum, Sorrento, Matera and Agrigento. For the summer seasonThen, Itabus will strengthen the network by serving tourist and seaside destinations including Gallipoli, Otranto, Jesolo, Bibione, Taormina, Cefalù, Polignano a Mare.
