Alicante attracts investments of 185 million in three years with its ‘express license’

The city of Alicante has received investments for 185.5 million euros In the last three years of just over 60 business initiatives that have been processed under the ‘Priority Project’ formula created by the City Council to expedite the granting of licenses and procedures. According to the council itself, these investments have generated 4,000 new jobs.

In the last year, 18 promoted initiatives valued at 66.82 million euros, with 680 direct and 293 indirect permanent jobsin addition to more than 1,250 temporary jobs, according to data managed by the Priority Projects Office of the Local Economic and Social Development Agency ‘Impulsalicante’.

This formula has been especially required by distribution companies, such as amazon to implement your distribution center in the metropolitan area and Mercadona for your online sales warehouse in the area. Masymas or Carrefour have also made investments with ‘priority project’ authorization.
