Andalucía Trade launches its first incentive package for companies in the amount of 267 million

The Ministry of Economy, Finance and European Funds has published the drafts of the regulatory bases for the first lines of incentives for companies that will be managed by Andalucía TRADE, an agency that brings together the business promotion efforts previously dispersed in IDEA, Extenda and the Knowledge Agency. The baptism of the new super agency is formed by three lines for industrial development and one for business R&D&i, for a global amount of 276.7 million euros. These aid will be available to companies from May. These are the first lines of the first package of aid and incentives that Andalucía TRADE will manage, which will add a total of 348.9 million of euros.
The Minister of Economy, Finance and European Funds, Carolina España, has highlighted that “this draft decree is an example of the Andalusian Government responding to the needs of companies, which They are the ones that create jobs and make our land progress. Companies are strategic allies of the Andalusian Government,” he noted.
The programs
The incentive program for industrial development that is included in the first decree contemplates three lines of aid that aim to promote business and industrial development in Andalusia, by supporting creation of new activitiesto the development of growth projects and consolidation and process digitization.
With a budget allocation of 241.06 millions of euros co-financed with FEDER, SMEs and the self-employed can benefit from this aid in non-competitive competitionThat is, projects will be attended to in order of arrival, until the budget is exhausted. These incentives can reach up to 75% of the investment eligible.
Another line of incentives for entrepreneurs will be announced soon, for 2.5 million euros.
For its part, the line of incentives business R&D&i that is launched with this draft decree is equipped with 35.62 million of euros. Under a non-competitive competition regime, it will be used for industrial research and experimental development projects. Aid is planned up to 50% of the eligible investment for small and medium-sized companies.
As a whole, the R&D&I incentive program will have a budget allocation of 105.33 million of euros that will be offered to the business community in subsequent calls, both competitive and non-competitive.
Period 24-27
These programs are part of a complete system of incentives, financial instruments and actions to support companies of the Ministry of Economy, Finance and European Funds for the period 2024-27, which together will exceed the 900 million euros. The objective of these incentives is to enhance the activity of Andalusian companies, support their internationalization and ensure that no entrepreneurial project falls by the wayside due to lack of public support. and increase the attractiveness of Andalusia as a business destination.
These help lines are co-financed with the Andalusia Program ERDF 2021-2027 and are aligned with the new industrial policy of Andalusia with a horizon of 2030 and the Smart Specialization Strategy for the Sustainability of Andalusia 2021-2027, S4ANDALUCIAa “Strategy of Strategies”, which constitutes the framework to develop actions aimed at achieving a smarter and better specialized Andalusia, through innovation, digitalization, industrial transition, entrepreneurship and support for small and medium-sized businesses, reports the Junta de Andalucía.
