Are exports to Israel continuing? New statement from the Ministry of Commerce – Last Minute Economy News

[ad_1]

The Ministry of Commerce made a statement regarding the news that trade with Israel continues despite the restriction imposed on April 9.

In its statement, the ministry said, “The sending of the 1019 products in question to Israel, even through warehouses, free zones, temporary storage areas and transit trade, is also included in the scope of this restriction.”

The following was noted in the ministry’s statement:

“As of 09:00 on April 9, 2024, 1019 products in 54 product groups that are subject to the export restriction with Israel published by the Ministry of Trade on April 9, 2024 will not be subject to export registration at our customs.

In addition, the sending of the 1019 products in question to Israel, even through warehouses, free zones, temporary storage areas and transit trade, is also included in the scope of this restriction.

This being the case, the effort to simulate the departure of any prohibited product that was export registered at customs before April 9, 2024, when the restriction decision was taken, can only be explained by ignorance of international foreign trade, customs clearance and logistics legislation and procedures, or bad faith.

The decision taken by the state and government of the Republic of Turkey on this issue is clear and strictly implemented and does not allow for malicious speculation. We kindly request our citizens not to believe such false and false news and to be comforted.

“As the Republic of Turkey, we will continue to stand by our Palestinian brothers, whom we have been with since the first day, in every field and on every platform.”
