Bakırköy-Bahçelievler metro station opened: 1 million passengers are targeted

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdülkadir Uraloğlu and AYGM General Director Dr. The metro line, which was put into service with the participation of Yalçın Eyigün, is expected to move at a speed of 80 kilometers per hour and carry 1 million passengers a day.

The design of the station, which makes a significant contribution to Istanbul’s transportation line by reducing the journey between Çam and Sakura City Hospital – Incirli to 31 minutes, explains, in the language of modern art, the way foreigners reached Bakırköy by following roads full of fig trees during the Ottoman period.

Outdoor Factory, which has undertaken the artistic design works of Turkey’s largest metro stations, added a new one to its completed projects with Bakırköy-Bahçelievler Metro Station, which was opened on March 10, after Gayrettepe Metro Station.
