Europe commits to raising the financial profile of POSEI

The Commissioner for Agriculture of the European Commission, Janusz Wojciechowski, undertakes to review the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) in the second half of this year and with it the Posei to raise the financial record. Currently it is 268 million euros and according to the Government of the Canary Islands, it should rise to 357.6 million euros to cover the extra costs of transport, of more than 44%, and derived from inflation.

The European Commissioner adopted this commitment in the meeting held this Tuesday with the President of the Government of the Canary Islands, Fernando Clavijo, and the Minister of Agriculture, Narvay Quintero.
