While talking to the media, Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb said that they want to take a big and long-term program from the IMF, Pakistan will try to take a big program according to its quota.
They say that they want to take the longest period program in the history of Pakistan from the IMF, if there is continuity in the IMF program, there will be economic discipline.
Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb says that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has a clear vision for the improvement of the economy, he has given strict instructions to maintain economic discipline.
Directive to bring transparency in tax collection system
Apart from this, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has visited FBR in Islamabad.
Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb directed to bring complete transparency in the FBR Kotax collection system.
On this occasion, FBR officials briefed the Federal Finance Minister on tax collections.
Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb discussed the tax collection target, future collections and reforms with the FBR officials.
FBR officials also briefed the Federal Finance Minister on the process of digitization.
Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb also directed to speed up the work on co-digitization of FBR offices and to bring complete transparency in the tax collection system.
