Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK) has postponed the submission deadline of the precaution plans prepared by these banks to June in order to determine in advance the measures to be taken in case any of the situations that will cause deterioration in the financial structures of systemically important banks occur or are likely to occur.
The Regulation Amending the Regulation on Precautionary Plans to be Prepared by Systemically Important Banks, prepared by BRSA, was published in the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, the precaution plans prepared by these banks will be sent to the BRSA at the end of June instead of the end of March, in order to determine in advance the measures to be taken in case any of the situations that will cause deterioration in the financial structures of systemically important banks occur or are likely to occur.
With the amendment, provisions regarding the precautionary plan capacity, which show the combined effect of the measures within the precautionary plan scenario on capital and liquidity adequacy, were added to the regulation, and some necessary revisions were made in the precautionary plan indicators for compliance with European Union standards.
