Stating that travel agencies create alternative tours covering all parts of the country for every budget during the Eid holiday, Bağlıkaya said, “There is a very high interest in hotels, nature and cultural tours in the Mediterranean region. GAP, Black Sea and Cappadocia tours stand out among cultural tours. Our travel agencies offered 3, 4 and 5 night tours to our citizens. With the Eid al-Fitr holiday being extended to 9 days, 6-7 night tours will also begin to be in demand. Currently the focus is on 3 and 4 night tours. For domestic tours during the holiday, the price per person for three-night bus cultural tours starts from 8 thousand TL, and for 5-night tours from 11 thousand TL. “The average price for domestic tours by plane increases to 15 thousand TL,” he said.

VISA PROBLEM IN INTERNATIONAL TOURS

Emphasizing that visa problems continue in international tours, Bağlıkaya said, “For this reason, we see that our citizens, who want to go to European countries but whose visa applications are rejected, turn to visa-free Balkan tours and destinations such as Egypt. 3 nights 4 days and 4 nights 5 days tours are in higher demand. Prices for international tours start from 400 euros per person and vary depending on the distance of the destination and the means of transportation. “The average tour price is around 1000 euros,” he said.

It is estimated that 20 million people will travel this holiday and spend 100 billion TL. So, despite all the conditions, one in every five of us will be on the road this holiday. “There will be great holiday activity throughout the country, from the Aegean to the Black Sea, from Marmara to Southeastern Anatolia,” he said.
