Bas-en-Basset. Stéphanie Champailler has just opened the restaurant l’Effet Mer

From L’Éphémère, the former snack pizzeria, to L’Effet Mer, an address is reborn at the top of Boulevard de la Sablière, where a new restaurant offer has just been launched on Wednesday 15 February. It is Stéphanie Champailler who, at the age of 37, takes over the management of this establishment.
Homemade burgers with surprising names
The former Aurécoise settled five years ago in Bas-en-Basset, where she has been a volunteer firefighter for two years. His professional career includes the Cèdres Bleus in Aurec-sur-Loire, then the Hôtel-restaurant de la Loire. She concretizes here an idea that was running through her head by succeeding at L’Éphémère, which opened in May 2019.
Why The Sea Effect? Not just for puns: seafood will be on the program. In fine weather, it will be possible to taste shellfish, fish and seafood from the brazier on the terrace located at the back of the building (as well as meat, of course).
For the moment, the meals are to take away: homemade burgers, with surprising names (Le Thatcher, le Gaddafi, le De Gaulle…) Belgian-style fries, pasta with homemade sauce, Thai noodles, desserts…
At L’Effet Mer, Stéphanie Champailler also promises to respond to any special request in the catering register.
L’Effet Mer, 5, place de la Mairie, in Bas-en-Basset.
