State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has launched a portal ‘Sunwai’ to redress the complaints of bank customers.
According to a State Bank statement, the portal and app ‘Sunwai’ is a continuation of SBP’s efforts aimed at removing the difficulties faced by bank customers in registering complaints and strengthening the efficiency and transparency of banks in dealing with these complaints. Is.
The portal ‘Sunwai’ is a one-window operation for bank customers, where they can register their complaints against banks, microfinance banks and development finance institutions (DFIs) operating in Pakistan.
Customers can now register their complaints about any banking product or facility including Roshan Digital Accounts (RDA) through ‘Shanvai’ for timely redressal.
‘Sunwai’ is accessible through a web browser as well as a mobile application on both Android and iOS.
Registered users can register complaints in English or Urdu language as per their convenience, each registered complaint is given a unique tracking number and it is sent to the users through SMS and email.
Banks have been directed to ensure prompt and fair resolution of complaints within the period (turnout time or TAT) prescribed by the State Bank.
It is expected that this customer grievance redressal portal and app will play an important role in strengthening the confidence of the customers in the banking industry.
