Uber has launched Uber Rent in Spain, a new service that allows users of the platform to reserve a rental car in 116 Spanish cities in the 17 autonomous communities, as announced this Tuesday.

The Uber application, through CarTrawler technology, recommends the user the best car rental options based on their location and the final destination of their trip.
It also includes the ability to compare options by price, vehicle size, and reviews from other users.
For its part, the company offers all users 10 euros in Uber credit redeemable for VTC services in each of the first three rental car reservations they make through its platform to celebrate the launch.
The director of Uber in Spain and Portugal, Felipe Fernández Aramburu, has highlighted that with Uber Rent, the company presents a “new alternative” for mobility so that the “thousands of people” who use it daily in Spain can reach their destination. in the way that suits them best.
For its part, Uber Rent is the first service that Uber launches in all the autonomous communities of the Spanish territory and, as detailed, it reaches new regions such as Galicia, Asturias, Navarra, Cantabria or Extremadura, in addition to the autonomous cities of Ceuta and melilla.
