Who paid how much tax in 6 months of the current financial year? The details came out

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has released the details of tax collected from various categories across the country this year.

FBR has released details of tax paid by salaried, export and importers, contractors and bank account holders.

According to FBR, in the first 6 months of this financial year, the salaried class paid 158 billion rupees in tax, which is 248% more than the exporters.

According to FBR, in the first 6 months of this financial year, the salaried class has paid 38% more tax than last year.

The Federal Board of Revenue has shown the possibility that 300 billion rupees tax can be collected from the salaried class this year.

According to the FBR statement, in the first 6 months of this financial year, the highest tax of 228 billion rupees was paid by contractors, which is 31% more than last year.

According to the declaration, account holders in banks were second in paying more tax, while importers were third among those who paid more tax during 6 months.

According to the FBR statement, in the first 6 months of the current fiscal year, 57 percent was received from withholding tax, while in the last 6 months, the salaried class paid more than 200 percent tax compared to the shopkeepers and exporters.

According to the statement, from July to December, exporters paid only 46 billion in tax at the rate of 1 percent, while exporters earned 15 billion dollars in the last 6 months.

According to the FBR declaration, in the last 6 months, importers have paid 189 billion rupees in tax.

According to the Federal Board of Revenue, salaried people from Sindh paid 66 billion in taxes, out of which 57 billion rupees were paid by the salaried class of Karachi alone.

According to the FBR statement, the salaried class from across Punjab paid 59.4 billion rupees in taxes, of which 33 billion was collected from Lahore alone.

According to the declaration, 19 billion rupees were paid by the salary earners from Islamabad, 4.2 billion rupees from Balochistan and 9 billion rupees from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
