Isère: Emmanuelle Bely, new general secretary of Soitec (Bernin)
The Isère-based specialist in the design and production of innovative semiconductor materials has just formalized the appointment of Emanuelle Bely as Vice-President of the Executive and Secretary General. The latter brings together governance and the group’s legal and public affairs departments. At the same time, she joined the executive committee and was also secretary of the board of directors of Soitec, which generated €274 million in the third quarter of the 2022-2023 financial year. In parallel with her new functions, Emmanuelle Bely remains a member of the Community of mission-driven companies and of its board of directors.
A graduate of ESSEC and an MBA from the University of Chicago, Emmanuelle Bely was also admitted to the bars of Paris and Madrid. She began her career working for 14 years in France and the United States in several French and international law firms. In 2007, Emmanuelle Bely joined the Smithfield group as Director of Human Resources. After the merger of the Smithfield and Campofrio groups, she was promoted to legal director. Before joining Soitec, Emmanuelle Bely had worked for the Danone group since 2014. During this adventure, she held several positions within the general secretariat. His last cap was that of secretary general of the waters and Africa division and the South Cone region.
